Within three business days of your inquiry, the first version is in your portal. Scope is written as features and use cases, one checkable sentence each. Each milestone lists its work items with their days, and the first milestone carries a firm price. Comment on any line; we answer in the next version. Nothing is paid and nothing is signed.

Accept, pay, and it gets built.
Accepting locks the first milestone at its price. You pay it in the portal, through Stripe, and the build starts. You follow its status there, we review it together, and it launches.

06 · Questions
The things worth asking
How do I know the price is reasonable?
Every milestone shows its work items with their days at $199 a day, and the scope is written as use cases you can check one by one. Put the same use cases in front of anyone else and compare. If the number does not fit your budget, say so: the first milestone is sized to what you name, and the rest waits.
What if you underestimate?
Once you accept a milestone, its price is fixed. If it takes us longer, we carry that. It is also why the first milestone is scoped carefully and written in checkable sentences.
What if you do not deliver?
A milestone is built to its scope as written and reviewed against it, line by line, before it launches; what does not match is corrected. If we end a project before delivering a milestone you have paid for, you get that payment back in full. If you end it, the work as it stands is already in repositories in your name, and we finish it if you ask. Read the clause in the terms.
What if I change my mind during the build?
Scope is fixed as written, so the price cannot drift. A change goes into the agreement as a new feature or milestone with its own days and price, and you decide whether it is worth it.
Can I stop after the first milestone?
Yes. Later milestones carry no price and no commitment until their own round. What you paid for is yours, and operations continues only as long as you want it.
How do I pay, and to whom?
In the portal, through Stripe. The invoice is issued in US dollars by Verlox Limited, the company behind Silent Keel; Stripe takes the payment and sends the receipt, and your card details never reach us. The build starts once the payment is in. Operations is charged monthly to the card on file.
Is the work done by AI or by a person?
A senior engineer is accountable for everything that ships and reviews all of it. The code is written with AI agents under that review, which is what makes a day buy what it buys. The largest companies already build this way; the same leverage should be available to a business of any size.
What kinds of projects?
Websites with catalogs and inquiries, customer and partner portals, internal tools, connections between the systems you already use, and the running of all of it afterward. If it is a good fit, the agreement shows how. If it is not, we say so in the first reply.
What happens after launch?
Operations, $49 per month: monitoring, updates, backups, support and small changes, and a monthly report of what happened. New features are new milestones, priced at their own round.
I already have a website and some tools. Do they get replaced?
Only where they should be. The agreement says what is kept, what is replaced and what is connected, and why. Accounts held by a previous vendor are moved into your name as part of the work where that is needed.
How much of my time does it take?
The inquiry, reading the agreement, answering our questions, and a review at the end of each milestone. Everything else happens in writing in the portal, at your pace.
Where are you?
Hong Kong, half a day ahead of Eastern time. Silent Keel is the trading name of Verlox Limited, a Hong Kong company, and Hong Kong law governs the terms and every agreement. The work runs in writing in the portal, at your pace, with a reply within one business day and a call when it helps.
Why the name?
